At Vertical Real Estate Investment, we have pioneered community development through innovative capital structures and the use of energy-efficient offsite construction applications.
Our model secures ownership in real estate assets within the General Partnership (GP) alongside investing in such assets as Limited Partners (LP) on approved projects.
We also provide internalized services to execute our project closing requirements and ensure success throughout the development, construction, & funding process.

President and CEO
Joe Blockno
Mr. Blockno has spent 25 years in the development industry, building businesses and financial structures for some of the largest and most successful companies, including Berkshire Hathaway’s Clayton Homes and the international construction company Skanska.
Mr. Blockno pioneered urban reconstruction with modular builds and has implemented across senior care, student housing, single-family, and multi-family projects nationwide.
He brings his extensive expertise to Vertical Real Estate Investment alongside a vast network of professional industry partners.

Jessica Dalou
Jessica is an Executive with over 10 years of experience supporting executives, managing business operations, coordinating investor meetings, and keeping fast-paced environments running smoothly behind the scenes.
Throughout her career, she has worked across real estate investment, administration, marketing, and executive support roles, where she developed a strong passion for organization, communication, and helping businesses operate more efficiently. She genuinely enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving, organized, and taken care of.
Based in Orlando, Florida, Jessica is known for her detail-oriented, proactive, and personable approach. Outside of work, she is a wife and mother who values connection, creativity, professionalism, and creating meaningful experiences both personally and professionally.

Ali Blockno has spent the last 8 years building experience in customer service and management, developing strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills across multiple industries.
As a Project Manager, Ali brings her expertise in organization, problem-solving, and team leadership to every project while creating meaningful, long-lasting connections along the way.
